WHEREAS, Article III, Chapter 1, Section 1 of the Charter of the City of Kissimmee provides for the date General Municipal Elections are held; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor-Commissioner shall issue this proclamation signed by him and attested by the City Clerk, ordering said Run-off election; and

WHEREAS, the City Manager shall issue notice of said Run-off election at least ten (10) days prior to the election date.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
that the following Election Proclamation be issued:

PROCLAMATION

IT IS HEREBY announced and proclaimed that the Run-off Election in the City of Kissimmee, Florida will be held during the legal hours of voting on the 4th day of November, 2014. All voting precinct locations within the City of Kissimmee City Limits as established by the Office of the Supervisor of Elections will be utilized for the purpose of electing Commissioners for Commission Seat # 2 and Commission Seat # 4.

The Commission shall make the necessary appointments to conduct said election and make due returns thereof as provided by law.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager gives notice of this Resolution and Election Proclamation as provided by law and to publish the same in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Kissimmee, Florida,at least ten (10) days prior to the date of said election.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the form of official ballot to be used in said
election shall be substantially as follows:

VISTO QUE, el Alcalde-Comisionado publicará esta proclamación firmada por él y atestiguada por la Clerica de la Ciudad, en el que se ordena dicha Elección Desempate; y

POR ESTE MEDIO Se anuncia y se proclama que la Elección Desempate en la Ciudad de Kissimmee, Florida ocurrirá durante las horas legales de votación el dia 4 de Noviembre del 2014. Todas las localizaciones de votación del distrito en los límites de la Ciudad de Kissimmee según lo establecido por la oficina de la Supervisora de Elecciones serán utilizadas con el fin de elegir a Comisionados para el asiento No. 2, y el asiento No. 4 de la Comisión.

SEA RESUELTO, la Comisión establesera los requisitos necesarios para conducir dicha elección en la manera prevista por ley.
